The spear-point blade of the Sting begins its life as an ordinary blank of 1050 carbon steel, akin to the alloy used in traditional Samurai swords. It is then hot-forged and precision-ground into its final shape, featuring dual cutting edges that provide twice the protection and double the attitude.
To resist corrosion in demanding tactical environments, the blade is finished with a black, non-reflective powder coat. Grab hold of the handle, and you'll feel its perfect contours, designed to fit your bare or gloved hand snugly. The heft, balance, and thumb detents ensure a secure grip, while the large lanyard hole allows for versatile carry options, including as a neck knife.
The CRKT Sting comes complete with a custom nylon-stitched sheath, featuring a glass-reinforced nylon insert and a strapping option for versatile gear attachments or a clip for attaching it to your belt, pack, or boot. Wherever you decide to carry it, this blade means business and won't be sitting there for long.
